HTC EVO 4G owners may soon get a full taste and feel of the new Gingerbread 2.3.3 update.

Earlier, a fully functional Android2.2.3 leaked in the internet casing HTC EVO 4G lovers to rejoice. The HTC EVO 4G wouldn’t get any 3D features that HTC Sense 3.0 has. Yes it’s heartbreaking, but who knows, it may come soon.

The update will include Google enhancements. Sadly, no UI customization is included. This is still a test so I suggest to be careful.

Although I have to say that people at XDA developers love the update.

Rumor: A 3D capable HTC Evo and Reworked HTC Flyer to be released in CTIA?

March 8th, 2011 HTC Themes No comments

ctia

In this year’s CTIA, HTC EVO’s successor will be introduced. Although there isn’t any much evidence that HTC will unveil anything, we may get our own surprise.

There’s an anonymous person that revealed that there will be a new HTC EVO that will be introduced by Sprint at the CTIA which includes a 3D capability feature.

Even though details are really small, it’s alright to assume that the new HTC EVO is going to be somewhat related to the HTC Pyramid with a dual-core processor and a large screen.

The anonymous person also gave hints that the Android powered tablet will be named HTC Evo View. The HTC Evo View might only be a reworked HTC Flyer that was released at Mobile World Congress. Since HTC Flyer didn’t impress as much, maybe it would be a good reworked product. Users have a good experience with it. Let’s just hope it’s going to wow the other HTC Lovers.

All we can do now is to just wait and see…

HTC ThunderBolt and Evo Shift is now here!

January 13th, 2011 HTC Themes No comments

On January 8, 2011, HTC released two new phones that would certainly delight the HTC phone lovers out there. The two latest phones are ThunderBold and Evo Shift (Finally Evo Shift is out!).
htc

These two new release are now part of the six phones that have 4G technology enabled that can help you do things way better than your old phones. 4G technology can help you download much faster and upload information better. It will also help you play multiplayer games with the use of your phone. In simple terms, 4G means faster speed.
ThunderBolt is available in the Verizon network while Evo Shift is on the At&T and Sprint.

ThunderBolt Specifications and Features:

It has an awesome 8 Megapixel camera and video. It’s already pre-installed with Skype so you can chat and use the call system that it has.
The 4.3 inch High Def screen will let you watch clear cut videos. It’s like having your own LCD TV screen at the palm of your hands although smaller.
Do you love music? No problem. It already has RockBand in it so you can play guitar and drum on it. I just don’t know how you’ll do it.
Just like a tablet, you can use Thunderbolt to read ebooks.
It has WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. Some features are installed in the 32 GB microSD memory card.

The Evo Shift

MobileCrunch already came out with a statement that it’s just another T-Mobile dressed differently. It’s QWERTY keypad phone that’s very nice on the fingers.
Both ThunderBolt and Evo Shift will run on Android OS.
Although these phones are already publicized, the release date is still in question.

HTC EVO Shift 4G (Leaked news)

It’s unsure news but when it comes to HTC releasing the EVO Shift 4G, you just have to be happy in hearing something about this phone.

Somehow, the release date got leaked and the news says that it’s going to be on the January 9, 2011. You got to wonder why HTC missed out on the holiday season to be released. These holidays are a part of the calendar where people will just shell out money for the sake of making their love ones happy.

But maybe HTC has other plans for this phone. It might be a wicked marketing skill that they may have developed. It might just be a way for the phone to be known better because it’s a risky thing to do especially for the sales of the phone.

The HTC Knight/Shift 4G phone is a QWERTY keypad smartphone that slides out. Although front face cameras being presented in the market, you can see in the picture that the phone doesn’t have any.
IF that image is true and is 100% accurate till the phone comes out, the HTC EVO Shift 4G phone is going to have a silver trackpad with keys that aren’t bulging that hurts your fingers a lot. Although images aren’t circulating much, we will continuously update you on it as soon as it goes around the web.

The image you see looks like a plastic cased smartphone but it might be just a dummy or a teaser to anyone that’s searching for this phone.

A research points that the HTC Desire Z is now called “HTC A7373 Desire Z” in Russia.
Which is true? News has been speculating that it’s a spin off. This phone may be the HTC EVO 4G that everyone’s been searching for. Or it may be just a cousin of the phone.
Whatever it is, the company sure knows how to stir up frenzy. Are you going to wait for this phone? It might be worth it if you look closely. Well yes it doesn’t have face time chat but you’re not always going to use that right?
