HTC HD7 Spotted

We are just hours away from the official unveiling of the Windows Phone 7 from Microsoft and from nowhere, a full detail image of the HTC HD7 pops up on the web. What does all this imply? Will the much hyped Microsoft Mobile OS break cover with the HTC HD7 as a device showcasing the same.

Well, nobody is saying that it is indeed the HTC HD7 and the leaked image dubs it as the Schubert, but then, the inventories for T-Mobile USA and O2 UK have started listing the HTC HD7. For us, it surely is the HTC HD7 and we are sure that Windows Phone 7 will be debuted with this smartphone in particular.

myTouch

T-Mobile is certainly keen on expanding its bandwagon of HSPA+ capable smartphones and those smartphones also have another thing in common and that is the Android OS. The world knows that T-Mobile is ‘almost’ ready to retail the G2, which is also its first HSPA+ connectivity supporting device, and now T-Mobile has gone ahead and announced the HTC myTouch which is not to be confused with the ‘myTouch 3G’.

myTouch will be the second T-Mobile locked smartphone which will be HSPA+ (a.k.a 4G) capable and what is more is that it will also feature the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. myTouch is a far cry from the myTouch 3G in not just the connectivity bands it supports, but also the CPU it sports.

HTC Bee Spotted

The very first look at this image rendering spotted in the wild reminds you of the HTC Aria which is sold under the AT&T banner in the US. You may beg to differ, but for me, this is definitely a reworked CDMA version of the Aria. The source to have spotted this smartphone dubbed the HTC Bee, quotes that it has liaisons with small time Carrier Alltell.

As far as I know, Alltell is owned by our beloved Verizon Wireless and that is all the more a reason we think, this is the CDMA Aria which will be sold by Big Red as the HTC Bee. Even the specs are pretty similar- 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen, 528GHZ CPU, 5MP camera with flash, Android 2.2 Froyo and 384MB of RAM.

We’ve always dreamed that the HTC HD 2 was powered by Android – and now it can be!

HTC HD2 Android

The HTC HD 2, which we’ve always wished was an Android device, is easily one of the best looking devices on the market – and now it just got a whole load better.

The HTC HD 2 has now had both Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 ported on it, which is probably the best news we’ve heard all week!

Apparently, there are still a few niggles here and there, but the port has been successful and even brings HTC’s Sense UI into the device as well.

Check out the video of Android 2.2 running on the HTC HD 2
