Just when you thought that HTC would stop releasing the good stuff, here they are again.
HTC released HTC EVO 3D. Another smart phone that works in the line of 4G network. If the 4G network is troubling you, you can switch back to 3G network to maximize battery life.

With this smart phone being larger than normal, you can have no eye problems in watching. The large screen and great resolution offers you good quality in watching vids, playing games, doing some paper work etc.

Hardware:
-1Ghz dual-core processor
-Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread)
-4 Gig internal memory
-MicroSD card slot
-4GB ROM
-1GB RAM

This is a very powerful device. The specifications says it all. It’s like having a Pentium 1 or 2 computer with a dual core speed.

HDMI & DLNA Feature

HDMI feature allows you to do play backs with HD audio and video with your smartphone. You can watch high quality movies, look at crisp pictures, watch some youtube videos that may even look better in your phone compared to your notebook or desktop.

DLNA is somewhat new. It’s an acryonim for Digital Living Network Alliance. With this, you can share, pictures, datas, access songs, movies from the PC and watch them remotely. Of course, you need a connectiong DLNA device as well.

The 3D Effect

This phone has a cool 3D effect where you can scroll from left to right continuously with no lag time. When you go to side to side while watching videos, you can see the screen actually adjusting. When you check on the pictures, the picture will look 2D at first and then it will give the picture some shadows and a 3D effect after a second.

HTC’s Tablet: Flyer

February 16th, 2011 HTC Themes No comments

flyer
For HTC lovers that have been waiting for a tablet to come, here it is. HTC has just launched the tablet called Flyer at MWC.

It’s a plastic and aluminum body, 7 inch tablet that’s been demonstrated with a pen (not actually integrated with the Flyer). The demo was done with a neat note where you can draw just ok.

HTC also included HTC Sense for tablets which are an “Add-on” for large displays. With bigger screen, comes more information for the user to sort easier.

The Hardware:

1GB of memory
32GB onboard memory
microSD slot
Single-Core 1.5 GHZ processor
Battery life(as long as two movies can run)
This tablet pulled interests from HTC users. But the specs didn’t coupe up with their expectations.

HTC opens FIRST retail store in Taiwan

January 31st, 2011 HTC Themes No comments

If you like to go around malls and shops, you’ll find Apple and Microsoft stores. These retail stores of course sell their products from smartphones, to tablets, and then laptops.

Now, HTC looks like it’ll jump also in the bandwagon of retail stores. HTC has already opened a store in Taiwan where they sell only HTC products and is also planning to open up two more stores.

Apparently, they’re also looking for partners that can help them expand in opening more than 100 stores in Taiwan.
It looks like with this bold move, HTC’s sales are climbing up and maybe now is off the charts.

I think HTC is making a great move because they really have great products that can compete with iPhone and other smart phones around. Their devices have evolved and it looks like it’s just getting better by the year.

Not only is it a good idea, but it’s going to be effective in teasing customers because they now can test the demo devices and see what HTC can do for them. Studies have shown that people have a bigger chance to buy anything that they can see, touch and experience firsthand.

HTC, Google and Microsoft would be glad because their sales would climb a little more than before in terms of which platforms the customer would choose.

As of the moment, the HTC retail stores look like it’s centered on Taiwan. But rest assured that it will open in other countries soon as well.

As HTC’s Telecom Executive Peter Chou said; “Our team has a set a goal of making 2011 the year of Asia for HTC.” It looks like they’ll be outdoing themselves because HTC is not only breaking grounds in Asia, but also in Europe and in America.

**Please note that the picture above is only a concept of the HTC store. It’s not final yet.
